Headshots Only is a mode that appears in Call of Duty 4, Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty: Black Ops II as an option for private multiplayer matches (and in Call of Duty: Black Ops II, in a custom game of Zombies as well). Headshots Only also appears in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III public matches, added during the Season Four update.
The mode makes it impossible to do damage to another player unless a headshot is acquired. Knife and explosions work as normal, however. This makes the game much more difficult to play, as most shots will do nothing, and players must aim carefully.
