Heavy Metal Heroes is a limited-time game mode featured in the Blackout mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. It released with the Operation Dark Divide event on September 23rd, 2019 for PlayStation and September 30th for PC and Xbox.
Overview[]
Players spawn in equipped with a custom Daemon 3XB loadout, Level 2 Body Armor, 5 Armor Plates, 10 First Aid Kits and a backpack. Players are also equipped with a Grapple Gun with unlimited use. Players also have Thrust Jump from Call of Duty: Black Ops III. If a player dies, they can be granted redeployment, like in Alcatraz.
The vehicles ARAV, ATV, Motorcycle, Attack Helicopter and the HBT-1B are all equipped with boost capabilities. Players also have a Flare Gun to spawn a HBT-1B directly for the player.
