High Caliber is an attachment featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Call of Duty: WWII, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Call of Duty: Mobile that increases headshot damage.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III[]

It can only be attached on Pistols or Assault Rifles, and increases the headshot damage multiplier of any gun it's attached to from 1.1 to 1.5, except on the Sheiva and MX Garand.

These two weapons are two of the guns that get the most benefit from the attachment, as it changes the guns from a two shot kill to a one shot headshot. This is achieved thanks to the unique increase both weapons gain, a 1.8 headshot multiplier (if they got a 1.5 multiplier, the attachment would make no difference).

It is a more effective attachment for Burst Fire and high-recoil weapons. Burst fire weapons greatly benefit if any of the three or four rounds hit the head of the opponent, and high-recoil weapons will direct their rounds upwards and towards the head, meaning the last of the shots fired are more likely to guarantee a kill.

Call of Duty: WWII[]

"Increases head shot damage."
— Description

High Caliber returns in Call of Duty: WWII, performing similarly if not identically to its Black Ops III iteration. However on the M1 Garand, SVT-40 and M1911 it only effectively works on headshots that are above the range of the 2-shot kills in multiplayer. It also has no effect on the M1941's 5-shot effective kill range in multiplayer.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4[]

"Increased damage to the head and upper chest."
— Description

High Caliber returns in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, where it raises the headshot damage multiplier to 1.5x as seen in past games. High Caliber is available on most assault rifles, sniper rifles, and pistols. Equipping High Caliber also gives the player the option to equip a variant known as High Caliber II, which increases damage to the upper chest, and to the torso on sniper rifles only.

Call of Duty: Mobile[]

"Enhances the caliber of ammo and enhances damage and range."
— Description

High Caliber returns in Call of Duty: Mobile where it is called Large Caliber Ammo. It increases damage for weapons that can use this magazine. However, for the BK57, the mag only increases limb and headshot damage, while having no impact on bodyshots. For the PP19 Bizon, equipping Large Caliber Ammo A removes the weapon's leg multipliers. And for the MX9, equipping Large Caliber Ammo increases damage to the legs, groin, chest and head, allowing for both 3 shot kill potential and consistent 4 shot kills at close range.
