Plot[]

Kate Laswell relays to the team that she uncovered redacted intel about a black bag operation conducted by Shepherd and carried out by Shadow Company 2 months ago. They were moving 3 ballistic missiles to allies fighting in the Middle East. Among one of the vehicles escorting the missiles were Erikson, Vance, and Dipaolo.

On their way to their destination, they abruptly come to a stop and drive towards the issue. At the front, they find one of the contractors, Shadow 3-1, struggling to order an apparent civilian blocking their route in very broken Arabic. Dipaolo leans out to provide cover. As 3-1 asks for the next move, the squad is suddenly ambushed by unknown attackers, with 3-1 killed among the chaos. After backing up, Shepherd orders them to keep the cargo secure. Graves and Shepherd begin arguing on how to help the squad on the ground as they fruitlessly defend themselves from their attackers. The trio discover that the attackers are Russian PMCs. As the trio continue to fight back, they are hit by an RPG blast, throwing them off and knocking Dipaolo unconscious.

Dipaolo wakes up to find his squadmates dead, leaving him the sole survivor. Crawling out of the vehicle towards a discarded gun, he is stopped by a Konni contractor as the Captain picks up a radio from one of the dead Shadows. Dipaolo tries to warn Graves, only to be shot dead on the spot by the Captain. The disastrous outcome leaves the entire squad dead and the missiles stolen as Laswell reveals that they gave the missiles to Hassan upon learning of Shepherd's involvement. As a result, Graves and Shepherd covered up the incident.
