Hostile Takeover is the tenth and final Operation in Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified, it takes place at a Nicaraguan drug compound where a CIA Operative is assigned to eliminate key drug cartel leaders.

The mission begins with the CIA Operative entering the compound through the ceiling. At this point, stealth can be used to kill the first few guards. After clearing the first floor and going down the stairs, a door must be breached using C4. After the slow-motion sequence, move up the hallway and confront Torres. After killing him, continue to move up. Air support will arrive, making the next outside area less difficult to go through. Move into the next building and advance until the enemies close a door. Breach the door with C4 and shoot anybody behind it. The next door will be breached in the same manner, but will be kicked open before the explosives are detonated. The explosion goes off, knocking both the CIA operative and the other man backwards. The protagonist gets the first shot, which causes the other man to fall off of a balcony. Upon further examination, this man turns out to be Jose Luiz Menendez. Menendez's son, Raul, is not considered as a target, so the team leaves him to escape. The team is then set up for evacuation and the mission ends.
