"Resources are limited. Fight for control of weapon drops to gain superiority"
— Description
Hunted is a gamemode in Call of Duty: Ghosts. The players starting loadout is a pistol (with one magazine) and throwing knives. In this game mode every 10-15 seconds an open drop will take place in a random location. This is how players can get a weapon. These weapons also have only one magazine, so the player may need to go to multiple drops in one life if they run out of ammo. After 10 seconds, or after all five weapons inside are used, the open crate will disappear. The first team to achieve 65 kills wins the match.

Notes[]
Weapon attachments are chosen randomly, and some weapons can come with four attachments at the same time.
Assault rifles with two or more attachments can sometimes have Burst Fire or Semi-Automatic equipped without the player knowing. This can be problematic in a frantic firefight, where a player can get caught off guard with the fire type of their weapon. The burst fire setup is also true of marksman rifles.
The PDW is not available on Wii U, Xbox 360 and PC; however, it is available on PS3, PS4 and Xbox One.
Maps with dynamic effects, such as Strikezone having its layout altered as if a K.E.M. Strike had gone off or the gas station on Octane being demolished, will have those effects already activated when the match begins.
Players can get DLC weapons, even if they don't have the proper DLC.
