The Inner Circle is a faction featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, appearing as antagonists during the campaign. The Inner Circle is a Ultranationalist terrorist organization led by Vladimir Makarov.
History[]
Attack against Verdansk[]
On April 6, 2019, the Inner Circle, led by Makarov, launched an attack on the Verdansk Stadium while disguised as Kastovian Police, Paramedic, and Armed Responders. The terrorists killed and injured countless civilians and attemped to destroyed part of the stadium with explosives through the VIP area. The attack on the stadium was stopped by the Special Air Service Bravo Team led by Captain John Price and Lieutenant General Herschel Shepherd. Makarov was also captured during the attack.
However, another squad of Inner Circle infiltrated the Verdansk International Aiport and partially destroyed it after detonating their own explosive as Bravo Team was leaving the area.
Joining Konni Group[]
After Makarov's incarceration, Andrei Nolan, Ivan Alexxeve, and other members of the Inner Circle joined the Konni Group, where they planned for Makarov's return.
