International Space Station is a canceled level that was originally going to appear in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Overview[]
It would have involved a whole level based in or out of the International Space Station (ISS) but it would have cut deeply into the story of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Instead of a level, a brief cutscene was put into the mission "Second Sun" where the player controls an astronaut drifting outside the ISS before being killed by the explosion of the ICBM. It is similar to the interactive cutscene "The Coup" from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. It may have been cut because fighting in space would be considered impossible.
