"Into the Furnace" is the fourteenth and final campaign level in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Plot
With the intel gahtered back from Barkov 's residence, Price and Kyle goes back to Urzikstan to ask Farah for her help. Despite initial distrust among them, Price tells her about Hadir's plan to destroy Barkov's gas factory in Georgia. Farah is initially hestitant because she doesn't want to go across border to invade. However, after Price hands over the intel, Farah agrees to join them, confident that with no ties with the West, the Russians will blame terrorists on the attack. With the plan is set, Price, Kyle, Alex, and Farah with her militia, with assistance from a US APC & drone, advance through the hills. Facing thorough resistance from Barkov's forces, the team manages to get close to the factory. However, as they get close enough with the factory, Barkov's forces manage to destroy the APC, forces the group to spread out. Barkov send reinforcements and helicopters to eliminate them. However, they are killed by combined arms and the drone strike. As the team manages to reach the entry of the factory, Alex and Farah will fight through the factory to rendezvous with Nikolai , while Price and Kyle will advance to the pipeline. Inside the factory, the team facing tough resistance from Barkov's army. However, they manage to kill them and reach the parking lot, where Nikolai is waiting with the charge. Upon reaching Nikolai, he give Alex and the militia the charges to blow the factory. When Farah asks Nikolai why he's helping them, he said that Barkov is a stain for his country. After taking the charges, the team goes back in the factory to plant it. They are ambushed by Barkov's men waiting for them, causing some casualities. However Alex managed to kill them all. The team moves away from the turbine room. But, as Alex about to open the door, a juggernaut blasts the door, causing Alex to be thrown away and damages the detonator. Facing the juggernaut, Alex has to get around the turbine room to flank him. Eventually, the juggernaut is down. The team now advances towards the furnace to plant the charge. After reaching the furnace, Alex told Farah that the detonator is malfunctioned. They have to sacrifice themselves to blow the factory. Alex and Farah then argues who's planting the charge and blow it. Farah initally volunteered to plant the charge. Alex then argue that she can't do both blow the factory and killing Barkov. And he said that he lives to be assigned. She then hand the detonator back to him, then Alex enters the furnace, planting the charge. Meanwhile, Price and Kyle facing heavy resistance on the way to the pipeline from remaining Barkov's forces. However, the manage to kill them and advance to the pipelines. At the pipelines, Kyle plant the charge on the pipe. After planting the charge, Barkov's helicopter seen flying away above them. Price asks Farah and Nikolai for their whereabouts. Meanwhile in the helicopter, General Roman Barkov is angrily requesting communication line to Moscow. Farah, who manages to slip in to his heli by hiding behind the crates, is now right behind him. Aware of her presence, he shoots Farah, but she manages to hide behind cover. Confronting Barkov, she stab his shoulder with her knife. Despite Barkov fighting back, she manages to push him and stabs his stomach. Knocked down, Farah brutally stabs the general, avenging her family and the people of Urzikstan that is suffering under his occupation. The dying general, shows no remorse for his atrocity, telling her that what he did is to prevent terrorist from her country to harm Russia. Farah then take the knife out of him and kick his body out of the helicopter. With General Barkov dead, the plan is set to destroy the factory. With all charges being set, Alex detonates the bomb, destroying the factory. Nikolai, who pilots the helicopter, is pleased with Barkov's death. Then, Farah asks Nikolai to fly them to her home, Urzikstan. The mission ends as the chopper flies away from the destroyed factory.
Aftermath
Laswell met Price at a teahouse, discussing about a new threat. Al-Qatala merged with Ultranationalists and OpFor, and has a new leader in Viktor Zakhaev, and started attacking Russian bases. Price demanded a new team to take care of them. Soap, Kyle Garrick (named Gaz), and Simon Riley were handpicked, and named the group, Task Force 141.
