Iran (Persian: "ایران") is a country in the Middle East. Iran is mentioned in Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Call of Duty: Black Ops III and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II[]

In Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Iran was mentioned in the Strike Force mission Shipwreck that Iran is under threat of an SDC missile attack, and that the missiles are to be delivered to the SDC destroyers from a freighter docked at Keppel Terminal in Singapore. The SEAL team deployed there to disable the defense systems protecting the freighter before calling in an airstrike to finish it off. if the mission is successfully completed, then Iran will be protected from SDC attack and the ship is destroyed but if the mission is failed, then Iran will be invaded by SDC and will join the coalition and the ship is departured.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III[]

In Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Iran is a member nation of the Common Defense Pact.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War[]

In Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the Iranian Revolution and the hostage crisis are mentioned with Arash Kadivar and Qasim Javadi being featured in Nowhere Left to Run as two members of an Iranian terrorist organization which participated in the crisis.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II[]

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, General Ghorbrani and Hassan Zyani are two members of Iran's Quds Force.
