Richter: "I'll tell you a story. I have spoken with the Fuhrer on exactly one occasion. He recommended a book to me. "The Passing of the Great Race". By an American. A man named Madison Grant. The Fuhrer had nothing but praise for him."
Kingsley: "Fuck Madison Grant. And everyone like him."
Richter: "The book reveals that under extreme duress, or unfavorable conditions, your people... do not deteriorate so easily."
— Richter discusses The Passing of the Great Race to Arthur Kingsley

SS-Hauptsturmführer Jannick Richter[1] is the secondary antagonist of Call of Duty: Vanguard. He is a Nazi officer in the SS tasked with the interrogation of Task Force Vanguard, under the orders of Hermann Freisinger.

During his interrogation of the Task Force Vanguard, he is horrified to realize that Freisinger plans to dispose of him since he is not part of Project Phoenix. He then plans to use Polina to bargain with the Soviets to give him safe passage. However, the Task Force members had already planned an escape and Richter is subdued by Lucas Riggs. In retaliation for killing Richard Webb earlier, Arthur Kingsley sinks his knife into Richter's left shoulder right of the suprasternal notch below the clavicle. As he slowly bleeds out and dies, Polina Petrova says goodbye, calling him a "little mouse".
