Jonathan Simas was a Designer at Sledgehammer Games. He worked on the testing for the Spec Ops mode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 during the development in 2010. He was transitioned to Designer and developed a number of systems in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Multiplayer mode, including the dynamic events in the map Recovery.

In April, 2016, Jonathan Simas unfortunately died of natural disease at his home in Hayward, California.[1]
