It is a symmetrical map with a looking post in the middle. The buildings are wooden and the walls are concrete. Fast-paced and fierce firefights are commonplace as the map is no larger than Shipment. Shotguns and submachine guns work particularly well on this map, as well as some assault rifles.

Trivia[]
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare[]
If the player jumps off the looking post and lands in the red circle, they will not suffer any fall damage.
If the player looks outside the building in spectator mode, it is possible to see that there are two more similar buildings, on either side.
In spectator mode, if the player goes up through the roof, they can go through the window of one of the adjacent buildings and go inside.
In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized, there is a multiplayer map called "Killhouse" as well. It is almost a replica of the console version. However there is no platform in the middle, and the player can climb up a ladder and walk around the edge of the walls.
Throughout the map, there are a few allusions to the story of the game, including Captain Price's hat on a table, and Khaled Al-Asad's cap on a folding chair.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare[]
A layout of Killhouse was first found in a training course near one of the hangars of the Arklov Peak Military Base in Verdansk, featured in Special Ops and Call of Duty: Warzone.
Killhouse's setting is an altered version of the Gunfight map King.
Although it isn't visible, the surroundings of the warehouse features coconut trees, a few buildings and some torn down buildings, similar to the surroundings of another live ammunition shooting range.
