The Kinetic Armor is a Specialist Ability featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops III and an Operator Skill in Call of Duty: Mobile.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III[]

"Reactive armor that deflects enemy bullets away from the body. Still vulnerable to headshots and non-bullet damage while active."
— In-game description

The Kinetic Armor is a Specialist Ability exclusive to the Specialist Erin "Battery" Baker.

The player is given charged electrically-reactive armor covering only the body, that sublimates enemy bullets on contact, turning them into a vapor which dissipates harmlessly. A player wearing Kinetic Armor can be distinguished by a metallic looking armor covering their body, and a different hit sound upon damaging them.

Kinetic Armor adds a flat 150 health bonus to the player while active. The armor only protects the body against bullets; it does not protect against melee, headshot, incendiary or explosive damage. Almost every specialist weapon will bypass the Kinetic Armor. Once the player has been damaged for 150 health or the specialist meter runs out, Kinetic Armor will be disabled.

Call of Duty: Mobile[]

"Reactive armor that deflects enemy bullets away from the body. It does not protect against melee, headshot, incendiary or explosive damage. It will be disabled after deflecting a certain amount of damage."
— In-game description

The Kinetic Armor returns in Call of Duty: Mobile as an Operator Skill. It was added as part of the Season 7: Elite of the Elite update.

It is virtually the same as its Black Ops III counterpart, including the alteration of the character's appearance. Like Black Ops III, it adds a flat 150 health to the entire body, but still renders the user vulnerable to all other forms of damage, including headshots, melee attacks, and explosives.
