Biography[]
SAS Career[]
Kyle Garrick enlisted in the British Army in 2008,[2][3] serving in the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment, spending four years participating in test flights, jump competition and marksmanship before passing selection for Her Majesty's elite Special Air Service (SAS), where he is currently serving as a Sergeant for his sixth year. Tasked to Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Turkey, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria. Garrick has spent the better part of his career hunting terrorist fighters. Kyle earned the U.S. Marine Corps Gold Parachute Wings at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina whilst on an exchange attachment and routinely cross-loads on operations with the SAS' American counterparts, the Navy SEALs. Required to undergo resistance to interrogation (RTI) testing, Kyle was the only candidate in his class to escape the facility and evade capture. Routinely subjected to physically and mentally uncomfortable scenarios, Kyle prides himself on high tolerance and tactical awareness. "Everyone talks about the physical aspect of being in the SAS but my job is mostly mental. Give me a guy who's got his mindset right over a guy who's twice as fit any day of the week."[2]
Sergeant Garrick was awarded the Queen's Gallantry Medal and the General Service Medal for both covert and overt counter-terrorism operations in the Middle East, disrupting opium supply lines and poppy production, a major source of terrorist financing. Kyle's last Middle Eastern tour was cut short due to an ever-changing political climate and a growing intolerance for full-throated unconventional warfare. Fading support for western backed guerrilla movements as well as growing regional tension complicated matters in the field, as men like Kyle are asked to do an imperfect job, perfectly well, without exception, no matter the cost.[2]
With expertise in prime target elimination, demolitions, weapons tactics, covert surveillance and VIP protection, Kyle currently serves on the SAS domestic counter-terror program, executing homefield missions with metropolitan police forces on European soil. Challenging duty, due to civilian and collateral damage issues, Kyle seeks the opportunity to serve abroad again, and make a real difference combating the threat of terror.[2]
With the SAS notoriously shrouded in secrecy, Kyle explains— "We move in silence, do our job, and melt away. No publicity, no media. It takes stamina, willpower, guts and brains. Got those, we'll welcome you a try at being one of us. If you haven't got all that, then off with you..."
Tracking Al-Qatala[]
Piccadilly[]
- "They sent us in half-assed... so everyone can just keep pretending we're not at war."
- — Kyle Garrick
On October 25, 2019, Garrick was working with CTSFO tracking Al-Qatala terrorists at Piccadilly Circus. After stepping out of their vehicle, Garrick and the CTSFO officers hold Al-Qatala insurgents at gunpoint before a bomb is detonated. Garrick and the CTSFO engage with AQ, clearing out train stations, book stores, and an arcade. Once these locations were clear, Garrick moved on the Tanto building, where he linked up with Captain John Price's Bravo Team shortly before making entry. Together, Price and Garrick moved through the ground floor before continuing to the second level. Once up there, they found a group of hostages with an explosive vest on one. Price and Garrick attempt to disarm the device, but find that they don't have enough time. Price shoves Garrick back before flipping the hostage over the railing, the vest detonating immediately afterward. After the threat had been neutralized, Price and Garrick discuss what had happened, where Garrick vents his frustration about the rules of engagement. Price sympathizes with Garrick, and after learning that he had intel on the terrorist cell responsible for the attack, assigns him to Bravo Team.
Clean House[]
Two days after Piccadilly, Garrick and Price lead a raid on a townhouse in Camden Town. They make entry and begin to clear the townhouse floor by floor, eliminating AQ fighters as they go. After clearing three floors, Garrick and Price move on to the attic, where they find a lone female. After giving her orders to surrender, she turns to a table, but she is killed by the two SAS operatives. Garrick discovers that she was going for a detonator, while Price finds intel on The Wolf's location.
Embassy[]
The next night, Garrick and Price are flying to the United States Embassy in Urzikstan to retrieve The Wolf. On approach, their helicopter is shot down, but they are able to use a fast rope to bail out and land on the roof. They make their way to the ground floor, where Price tells Alex to move The Wolf to a safe room in the basement. They start to make their way there when Al-Qatala breaches the Embassy. Garrick and Price fight their way through AQ to get to the safe room, where they regroup with Alex, Farah, and Hadir.
While in the panic room, they find that they need the Ambassador's keycard to escape. He uses security cameras and an intercom to talk to the Ambassador, but he is killed before Kyle can direct him to safety. Luckily, the Ambassador's assistant was hiding under his desk, and Garrick is able to direct her across the floor to Farah and Price, who escorts her to the basement. The group then makes their way to the Ambassador's residence, where they lock down The Wolf. The residence is then under siege, and the group attempts to defend. Garrick, Price, and Farah make their way to one rooftop while Alex and Hadir defend another. After repelling a wave of AQ, they come under fire from mortars and are forced off the roof. They defend against another wave of AQ, before Price calls Garrick over to one of the buildings to resupply. In there, Price gives Garrick a laser designator.
They leave the building and make their way to its roof, where they defend against AQ snipers and RPGs from a construction site across the street. After defending against them, Garrick uses the designator to signal airstrikes on AQ reinforcements that are arriving by truck. Once the trucks are clear, Garrick assists Hadir in clearing a building where the mortars are being fired from. Once the house was clear, Hadir and Garrick made their way back to the embassy to find that AQ launched another attack and had breached the perimeter. They managed to get back inside the residence and cleared it, saving the Ambassador's assistant again, but they found that The Wolf had escaped during the fighting.
Highway of Death[]
While Hadir, Farah, and Alex are covering the Crossroads, Garrick was with Price going door to door trying to find The Wolf and The Butcher. Later, he helps Alex leave the bunker after Hadir detonated the stolen gas against the Russians.
The Wolf's Den[]
After finding where The Wolf was holed up, Garrick assaults the compound with Price, Farah, and Alex trying to find him, Hadir, and The Butcher. Garrick clears two buildings with Price and other SAS, finding more intel on AQ operations. After the second building was clear, they get intel from a woman about the entrance to a tunnel system in a tea house. After Alex and Farah go down the hole, a suicide bomber detonates their vest, collapsing the tunnel behind them. After the tunnel collapsed, Garrick worked with the rest of the SAS to secure the rest of the compound while Farah and Alex worked their way to The Wolf.
Old Comrades[]
After Farah's forces were labeled as terrorists, Price and Garrick take an unsanctioned trip to Russia to find The Butcher. With the help of Nikolai, they find him in St. Petersburg. After getting weapons from Nikolai, Garrick and Price assault a warehouse AQ is using. They kill the sentries in the alleyway, and then inside as well. After clearing the building, they chase The Butcher through the streets of St. Petersburg. The chase ends when Nikolai hits The Butcher with his van. They load The Butcher in the van, but it has trouble starting. Garrick fends off AQ fighters swarming the van before it finally starts, allowing them to escape. They go to a warehouse, where they work on interrogating The Butcher. After The Butcher taunts Price and Garrick, Price sends the Sergeant to retrieve a package Nikolai brought. Garrick opens the back of Nikolai's van to find a woman and a child. He brings them back to the room, where Price steps out and offers Garrick a choice.
Garrick decides to not participate in the interrogation and waits for Price and Yegor to finish.
Garrick decides to participate in the interrogation and forces the woman and boy inside. It is revealed that they are The Butcher's family. Price gives Garrick a revolver, which he uses to intimidate The Butcher. When Garrick pulls the trigger, he discovers that the gun isn't loaded. Price then gives Garrick bullets, and grabs The Butcher's son. Now that the gun is loaded, The Butcher tells Price where the rest of the stolen gas is. When asked about Hadir, The Butcher says it is too late and that Barkov will be dead. Price leaves the room, knowing where the gas and Hadir are, leaving Garrick for a minute. Garrick either leaves, wounds, or kills The Butcher before leaving.
Drawing the line[]
After interrogating The Butcher, Garrick and Price take the police vehicle and travel towards their next location. Successfully passing a police checkpoint, Garrick begins to question Price's actions with taking in The Butcher's wife and son in order to gain information on Hadir's location. Price answers back that they were used as leverage to which Garrick responds with them being hostages. Price recalls what Garrick said to him at Piccadilly in regards to "taking off the gloves" and uses it to justify the consequences of what happens when the gloves are taken off. Garrick asks where they draw the line on this to which Price answers with "wherever you need it Sergeant". After this exchange, Price asks whether Garrick has second thoughts and wants to back out. After a quick thought into it, Garrick answers with saying he has no second thoughts and is still in.
Going Dark[]
Garrick and Price travel to Barkov's estate, where they find Al-Qatala have already killed the guards and taken over. Garrick infiltrates the grounds with Price on overwatch, and he goes around the estate looking for hostages. He goes to the poolhouse, the clocktower, and a church. At the third location, he discovers that the hostage broke and gave up information on Barkov, a room in the main building and the code to access it. Garrick makes his way there, meeting Price outside the room. They enter the room to find Hadir there, and they capture him, taking intel on the factory that makes Barkov's gas. As they take Hadir, a helicopter opens fire on the house, destroying the room. After the helicopter stops firing, Garrick and Price escort Hadir out of the house and to a tunnel that leads away from the estate. Before leaving, Laswell arrives and orders Garrick and Price to give her Hadir, after which he is given to the Russians.
Into the Furnace[]
Garrick and Price travel back to Urzikstan and recruit Farah and Alex. After they are done, they assault the factory, clearing out Barkov's forces on the way. Garrick and Price split from the rest of the group and fight their way to the pipelines that supply the factory, setting charges on them before leaving the factory.
Task Force 141[]
Joining the Task Force[]
After the destruction of the factory in Georgia, Price works with General Shepherd and Laswell to form Task Force 141, which Garrick, now known as Gaz, is recruited to.
War Against Al-Qatala[]
- Main article: War Against Al-Qatala
After Al-Qatala released toxic gas within Verdansk, the situation escalated with the discovery of bunkers used to store Al-Qatala weapons. Captain Price later conducts an operation in the city alongside Gaz, intent on preventing the situation from becoming any more chaotic.
Hunt for Hassan and the stolen missiles[]
As Soap and Ghost were deployed alongside with MARSOC Marines to appreahend Hassan in Al Mazrah. Gaz and Price were tracking an AQ boat in Amsterdam. Both of them eliminated Al-Qatala soldiers protecting the area and boarded the boat.
There, from the phone of a Las Almas Cartel soldier, Price learnt that the Las Almas Cartel and Al-Qatala is making a deal at Cafe Granch to transport a high value target to the United States, prompting Laswell to come to Amsterdam to help Gaz and Price to take the Al-Qatla's smuggler in for interrogation.
On the morning of October 28, 2022, Gaz alongside with Laswell went together to capture the Al-Qatala's smuggler, using the syringe that Laswell gave him, Gaz neutralized the first Cartel guard near the bridge. Then, he went to Price and took the decoy grenade and used it in the trash can in the alley. Taking advantages of the large bang created by the decoy grenade that Gaz used, Price killed the bodyguard and held the smuggler, then he told Gaz to come and help him secure the smuggler.
But then cartel soldiers, disguised as civilians open fired on them, causing both Gaz and Price to get to a safe location and return fire. After all was clear, Gaz used the syringe and knocked the smuggler out. Then both him and Price got on Laswell's car and exited from the area.
Operation in Spain[]
Through the tracker planted on Hassan's phone, Laswell found a cartel smuggling base off the coast of Spain. Gaz and Price then infiltrated the base with Laswell providing overwatch. The two then split their work, Gaz cleared the various buildings in the area while Price provided sniper support for him.
Then Gaz found out about a tunnel that leads to the underneath the lighthouse, with the entrance being behind a washing machine, which prompted Price to come over there and alongside with Gaz, pushed the machine over and went beneath the lighthouse. However, the two didn't find the missile, but Al-Qatala soldiers boarded Laswell's ship and took her away.
Rescuing Laswell[]
Following Laswell's abduction, Price gathered the help of the Urzikstan Liberation Force after being denied of support from General Shepherd. Nikolai then took him and Gaz to Urzikstan, where Price gets on the cars to chase Al-Qatala's convoy alongside with Farah and the Urzikstan Liberation Force, while Gaz provided fire support from above.
Nikolai's helicopter was then hit by a missile fired by Al-Qatala soldier, even though Nikolai managed to keep it up, Gaz fell out of the helicopter, barely hanging on the rope connected to his belt. After a while, Nikolai got to a suitable height and told Gaz to cut the rope. Which he did, Gaz then secured a vehicle and chased the Al-Qatala's convoy alongside Price, Farah, and the Urzikstan Liberation Force.
As the convoy was reaching the border of Al Mazrah, Price told Nikolai to land the helicopter and blocked off the route. Then, Gaz alongside with Price, Farah and the ULF got out of their vehicle and engaged Al-Qatala soldiers, killing them all and successfully rescuing Laswell.
Laswell then revealed that the missile guidance system was in Spain, not the missiles, and that the only person who can find them is El Sin Nombre.
Helping in the prison breakout[]
Gaz alongside with Price then traveled to the maximum security in Las Almas, Mexico after learning about the prison break there. There, Price shot down the helicopter firing at Soap, Ghost and the Los Vaqueros, allowing them to climb the rope to the top of the wall. Then, Gaz alongside with Price, Soap, Ghost, Alejandro and Rodolfo provided fire to give other Los Vaqueros operators time to climb the rope and get out.
Once all of the Los Vaqueros operators have climbed the rope, Price told everyone to leave. Then, he and the rest of Task Force 141 got into a van with Gaz being the driver, they drove away alongside with the Los Vaqueros, then Price revealed the truth.
Fighting Shadow Company[]
After finding out the truth, Price confronted General Shepherd about the remaining missiles and the betrayal from Shadow Company's forces. The two then both go into a brief argument. Shepherd revealed his true nature, telling Price that Graves is "a dog with a bone" and suggest Price to not go after him. Price then threatened the General and ended the call.
Price then gathered all other members of Task Force 141 and Los Vaqueros together, where he announced his plan to take back the Fuerzas Especiales Headquarters, secure Valeria and kill Commander Graves. Price then states that this is a fight against their own, and, they are not 141 or Los Vaqueros on this, re-affirming that they are a team: Ghost Team.
Gaz was part of Team 1, alongside with Price, Alejandro and a Los Vaqueros pilot. They infiled in from the tunnel while Team 2, consiting of Ghost, Soap, Rodolfo and other Los Vaqueros operators waited outside the gate until Price fired on the entry gate. Team 1 then managed to manuver through the tunnel and secured a helicopter, Price alongside with the Los Vaqueros pilot boarded the helicopter and opened fire on the entry gate, allowing Team 2 to move in.
While Price was providing support for Team 2, Gaz alongside with Alejandro manuvered around the base to get to Hangar 3 to find and secure Valeria. Once the two reached the Hangar, they killed the Shadow Company contractors inside it and secured the container, where Alejandro confirmed that Valeria was still there.
Death of Hassan and final missile neutralized[]
After Valeria is secured, Price confronted her, which she revealed the location of Hassan and the third missile: Chicago, Price then handed Valeria to Alejandro and Task Force 141 left Las Almas. Then Gaz were deployed on the Chicago river with the MARSOC Marines, alongside with the rest of Task Force 141 to eliminate Hassan and disarm the final missile. But, even with their best effort, the missile was launched.
Gaz then spotted Hassan, which prompted Price and Soap re-group on his position, there, they eliminated all of the enemies, and went near door of the room where Hassan was hiding, but before Soap could use the snake cam, the door was breached and they were knocked out.
Gaz managed to get up and brought both Soap and Price to a safe location. Gaz then helped distracing Hassan, allowing Soap to take the missile control and successfully disarmed the missile, Hassan was later killed by Ghost.
Makarov's Revenge[]
On November 10th, 2023, as Task Force 141 reached their designated jumping point for an unknown mission. Laswell radioed Price, telling him that Makarov is out. Which prompted Price to tell the pilot to turn around and bring Task Force 141 back to base.
Nuclear Power Plant Attack[]
On the same day, Task Force 141 were deployed to a nuclear power plant in Urzikstan after Konni forces were spotted converging to the plant. Soap and Gaz were tasked with securing the perimeter, while Price and Ghost recce the plant. There, Task Force 141 engaged with Konni forces and found out that they were trying to transport containers of Sarin gas - a remnant of Barkov's program. Despite the Task Force's best effort, Konni was still able to get away with the gas, and Price nearly lost his life while trying to prevent them from doing so.
Securing the missile[]
Thanks to the trackers that were planted on the missile containers by Farah, Laswell was able to track it back to an abandoned bunker complex in Urzistan. Prompting the Task Force to assault it in hopes of preventing the missiles from launching. The Task Force then divided their work, with Price rallying up with Farah while and clear parts of the complex while Gaz with the rest of the Task Force sweep and clear another part of the complex. While Laswell is going to Arklov Military Base, Verdansk to meet a contact who can help 141 in their search for Makarov. Price and Farah were able to stop one of the missiles from launching, but Soap, alongside with Ghost and Gaz failed to do so for the two remaining missiles, which were heading for the Arklov Military Base. Which made Price radioed Laswell in the blind.
Raid on Konni's Outpost in St. Petersburg[]
Following the raid on the island of Milena Romanova, Makarov's financier and the subsequent intel gathered from Romanova's interrogation, Task Force 141 learnt of a recently established Konni outpost in St. Petersburg, prompting them to assault it. With Gaz doing the assault while Price provided overwatch and fire support for him. The assault proved to be a success, as the two managed to capture Andrei Nolan - Makarov's right-hand man, and successfully extracted him.
Intercepting the HVT transport in Siberia[]
Following Nolan's interrogation, Task Force 141 learned that Makarov was transporting someone to an abandoned prison complex in Siberia, prompting them to intercept that convoy before it could reach its destination. Soap, Price, and Gaz positioned themselves underwater, while Farah alongside with the rest of Task Force 141 provided overwatch. When the convoy reached the ambush position, Task Force 141 executed their plan and began to work their way to the HVT. Eventually, Soap, Price, and Gaz secured the HVT and brought him to the surface, where they found out that the person who Makarov was transporting was none other than General Shepherd, which made Price furious, Gaz then reminded him that they are in an exposed location and suggest that they moved to a more covered one.
Shepherd then told Task Force 141 that he has good intel regarding Makarov and that they'd get it once they get him out of here. Price reluctantly agreed to that, the Task Force then fought through reinforcing Konni forces. Eventually, they reached the extraction zone and boarded the helicopter. Then, Task Force 141 brought General Shepherd to a remote location in Sibera, where they told him to owe up and told Congress all the truth, which Shepherd reluctantly agreed to. The Task Force then took him aboard the helicopter and left Siberia.
Strike on Konni's Foward Operation Base in Urzikstan[]
Following, Soap and Ghost's success at Gora Dam. Task Force 141 alongside with the Urzikstan Liberation Force and Shadow Company attacked Konni's Forward Operation Base in Urzikstan. The attack beared fruits, as the Task Force managed to secure the chemicals located in one of the hangars and Vladimir Makarov was persumed K.I.A.
Operation Trojan Horse[]
Laswell received information from the MI6 that Makarov and Konni were in London, she also found out that they are meeting up with a hacker. Soap and Gaz were deployed on the ground, where they blended in to track the hacker, while Ghost provided help from the CCTVs. Soap overheard the conversation and learned the location of the buyer. Task Force 141 and SFO then gathered at an abandoned tunnel in Amsley Street, then the team breached and began to clear the tunnel, they managed to kill the buyer and acquired the flash drive.
Despite their effort, the virus was uploaded to the train system, granting Konni the ability to control the train, and Task Force 141 also learned that Makarov planned to destroy Channel Tunnel. Task Force 141 alongside with SFO's approached the Channel Tunnel. They then split up, with Gaz, Ghost, SFO Leader and half of his men taking one side and Price, Soap alongside the rest of the SFOs taking the other. The tunnel is run through with trains as Konni take over the network. After intense shootouts with Konni. Price and Soap found a bomb being guarded by Konni contractors. Whilst Soap worked on disarming the bomb, more Konni contractors attacked them, Price alongside with the SFO provided cover for Soap. Then, Price requested that Gaz and Ghost reinforce them.
Following prolonged shootouts with Konni on the other side, Ghost and Gaz then arrived and returned fire, forcing Makarov to flee with his men. But it was too late, Soap was already killed by Makarov beforehand, which made Ghost walked over and kneel beside his body, shouting out: "Johnny!" in a disheartened voice. Gaz and Price then disarmed the bomb in time as they look over their fallen teammate.
Following Soap's death and cremation, his ashes were scattered in Scotland by Ghost, while Price and Gaz stood in silent to pay their respect for him.

Call of Duty: Mobile[]
Gaz appears in Call of Duty: Mobile and was added on November 30, 2020, during Season 12 Going Dark as part of the Going Gaz Crate. Later, in Season 2: Task Force 141, Gaz returning in the Comics.
As a member of TF141 alongside Captain Price, Ghost, Charly and Alex. He goes on a mission to Lisbon to free a group of hostages apparently held by Nikto. Gaz is grouped with Charly and Alex for their mission, and they head to secure the garage. During this time, Charly expresses her distrust for Ghost, which Gaz notes.
The trio neutralize the guards patrolling the parking garage, but find no trace of Nikto nor the hostages. Ghost and Price don't find anything on their end either, until Charly sees an elevator arriving at their level. They think it's Nikto, but instead they find barrels containing explosives, forcing them to exit the garage. When they make it outside, they only find Price, having apparently left Ghost behind for him to deal with Cipher. A moment later, the building explodes, leading the team to think Ghost is dead, only to find him carrying Cipher on his shoulders, who's unconscious.
Cipher is then rushed to a hospital, with the team unaware they are followed by Foxtrot. Upon arriving at the hospital, doctors tend to Cipher while Gaz lays out the information: a dozen bombings have occurred besides the one in Lisbon, and that the "People's Covenant" is taking credit for the attacks. Ghost believes Cipher is the key. All of a sudden, UAC agents in suits arrive to collect Cipher, which results in a skirmish between the agents, Cipher and Captain Price. Cipher is eventually anesthetized and taken away by the agents.
Gaz later accompanies Price, Ghost and the agents, with Cipher in tow, to a black site in the Moroccan desert. Along the way, they meet Roach and Farah, who offers them a ride. While en route to the site, their convoy is ambushed by Phantom and Spectre. Gaz is then assigned to call for evac and support along with Farah, while Price instructs Ghost to secure a hill and he and Roach scope the place out. Gaz's request for backup receives response as he is notified of helicopters arriving in 15 minutes.
After Captain Price and Foxtrot are shot down over the skies of Morocco, Gaz and Alex are dispatched on a rescue mission to recover them. Alex requests for backup, but is denied, and instead ordered to fall back. Before they can make sense of the current situation, Sparrowhawk suddenly appears, attacking both Gaz and Alex as well as the enemy troopers. Before she can finish the job however, UAC reinforcements arrive to assist them, giving them time to recover and get to the extraction site.
Upon reaching there, they discover a group of wounded guerrillas, one of them manages to cough out information that Cipher found them before they found him.
Some time later, Gaz attends a UAC briefing at their operations base in Tel Aviv, Israel. He, along with Alex, Tempest and Keegan are present during the briefing; Cipher has slipped through cordons by the UAC as well as the People's Covenant in Morocco and is at large, while Foxtrot (whose real name is revealed as former First Lieutenant Denise McDaniels) has been charged as an accessory and is considered a terrorist sympathizer, the UAC deems the apprehension or termination of Cipher its top priority.
Gaz doesn't believe Foxtrot is a terrorist, and Alex then asks the agents what evidence do they have against her. They remind them that Foxtrot resigned her commission and while searching for her brother, she committed numerous criminal acts, on top of that after she made contact with Cipher she went radio silent and is believed to be helping her brother escape justice. Until new evidence is presented that refutes that, both are to be considered enemy combatants.
Gaz feels the UAC's 'top priority' feels like a massive overreaction, and he discusses the matter with Alex. During this, the agents pinpoint 20 People's Covenant sites that are within reaching distance from where Cipher and Foxtrot were last seen. After the briefing, he further discusses Foxtrot and Cipher's situation. Tempest finds laughable the idea that Foxtrot would even join the People's Covenant, while Keegan mentions that 2 of the sites they've been sent to investigate are inactive for over a year. Gaz feels that everything has stunk to high heaven ever since they got their hands on Cipher, Alex deduces that he and Foxtrot may have sensitive information, and that anyone close to them is by default also considered to have the sensitive information, meaning someone is afraid of what they know and is throwing them under the bus. Alex realizes they must get to them before the someone does, or else they're dead and the chance of finding out what the root of the situation dies with them.

Trivia[]
General[]
- Garrick's blood type is B-.
- Garrick's age and date of enlistment in the British Army (and later joining the SAS) show inconsistencies. In a blogpost by Activision[2] he is listed as enlisting in 2014, but his operator bio in MW2 lists his date of enlistment as 2008.[3]
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare[]
- Garrick's preferred weapon of choice is the M13. He uses a custom version, identical to the "Short Stuff" blueprint available in multiplayer modes.
- Shooting the dog in the singleplayer mission "Wolf's Den" will make Garrick remark "Sorry, Pooch." This could be a reference to MacMillan seen in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare who makes the same remarks when encountering the wild dog in "All Ghillied Up".
- Gaz's Sabre skin resembles the outfit worn by his original counterpart in Call of Duty 4.
- Similar to the original Gaz, Garrick is more of a protege to Price and learns while he operates. And he also questions about Price's actions, to which Price mentors him.
- Gaz's skins Sabre, Broadsword, and Claymore are names of sword variants.
Call of Duty: Mobile[]
- Gaz's in-game bio, which reads: "I like to keep this for close-encounters", is a reference to the quote that the original Gaz said in the mission Crew Expendable in Call of Duty 4.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II[]
- If the player is using Gaz's Takedown skin and enters the GMC Hummer EV, the helmet will disappear
- The BlackCell variant of Gaz's Takedown skin has gold face paints, which initially was not present in the preview image. This was fixed with Season Three Reloaded.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III[]
- Gaz's call-sign changes to Bravo 6-1 in the mission Trojan Horse.
- The "Maim" skin is based on the Mangler from the Zombies mode.
