La Sous Terre (French for "The Underground"), abbreviated as LST, is a French weapon manufacturer in Call of Duty: Mobile.

La Sous Terre: Organizational Analysis[]
From its inception, La Sous Terre (commonly abbreviated: “LST”) set out to distance itself from its contemporaries: the monolithic weapons manufacturers firmly lodged in the thinking of the past. LST boasts a staff encompassing nearly all religious and ethnic backgrounds, greatly aiding its global reach. A simple investigation into its unorthodox structure finds that this new way of thinking manifests in other ways, for example: 1) underground night clubs, especially those that cater to elite operators (see: “Soldier's Paradise, et al.”) are frequently employed as intelligence gathering and deal-making opportunities. 2) While its weapons do not bear a maker's mark, every LST designer has specific artistic or design flourishes that identify a weapon's creator to those familiar with the signifiers. And 3) LST's most high-profile new addition was the former UAC agent who operates under the callsign “Bulldozer,” acting as its Security Chief and Community Outreach officer – relying on his contacts within the military world to strengthen commercial and personal ties within that community.
LST's Membership Expansion[]
It has been observed that being employed by LST is almost exclusively through referral by standing members. Bulldozer, for example, was brought into LST after its member Klepto (real name unknown) supported his inclusion and managed his admittance into the organization. Most recently, and controversially, Bulldozer was instrumental in bringing mercenaries Demir and Killgore into the organization. Though they have histories in the illicit private military underworld, involving questionable actions in the Las Vegas Exclusion Zone and several unsanctioned conflicts in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, both appear to be seeking a more legitimate path, and using LST as the vehicle for that redemption. Not everyone is the LST welcomes them equally, but it has been LST's star designer: Girasol, who has been their most vocal supporter. Demir's respectable history as part of the UAC, before its disbanding cast him into the mercenary underworld, is sometimes overshadowed by the more checkered past of his partner-in-arms Killgore, who has been associated with some of the more disreputable mercenary groups and private militaries currently active. But as part of LST's growing in light of more aggressive moves against it by its competitors, they are welcome additions.
LST Design Standards Pt.1[]
Anyone who pays attention to the grim world of arms manufacturing has seen the meteoric rise of LST. They would also know that such fast success toes not win it any friends in the arms manufacturing world. In fact, that world is well known for its industrial espionage, kidnappings, ransoming, and mysterious disappearances, so cutthroat and ties to organized crime has the world of arms manufacturing and sales become. Though it places nowhere near its greatest competitors in terms of revenue or sales figures, its members' negative impression of Atlas and Kurohana has been made publicly known, as have its accusations against those corporations for intentionally undermining it at every turn. The war of words between these companies is a matter of public knowledge, but less known is the LST's covert support of groups who exist in protest of these weapons companies: the Atlas Corporation in particular, and how the LST has provided material support and security to these groups, even using its hacking skills (notably Klepto) to reprogram nearby billboards to display anti-Atlas Corp slogans.
LST Design Standards Pt.2[]
The first thing anyone notices about LST weapons is their styling and cosmetics. LST excels in cosmetic furniture in a way that no other arms manufacturer has today or in the past. Durable polymers, carbon fiber, holographics, and illuminated elements combine to create weapons that are not only functional but eye-grabbing. This derives from their start as a boutique manufacturer for top-tier mercenaries (who could afford LST's price tag) and rich weapons collectors who loved having rare or unique custom LST designs hanging on their walls. But the engineers and designers at LST have exceedingly high standards for the quality of the weapons that leave their shops, and so don't want their work to be characterized by superficial characteristics alone: each weapon is finely machined to exacting standards using only the finest quality materials under strict guidelines. The weapons must perform in battle, and more than that must out-perform the competition in every instance. They are well on their way to achieving this. But until they find a way to mass-produce their weapons or cut corners in the production and thus reduce their costs, their weapons will only ever continue to remain in the hands of those of means.
