Landing is the first campaign level in Call of Duty: Black Ops Mobile.
Overview[]
The level introduces the player to the basics of the game: movement, shooting and the cover system.It also introduces the main character of the game, Sergeant First Class William James Bennett, member of the MAC-V SOG, which is sent on Colonel Stafford's unit on a high-priority mission.
Plot[]
After the discovery of a plan from the NVA to invade South Vietnam, a MAC-V SOG platoon, led by Colonel Brandon Cornelius Stafford, is sent to disrupt the enemy supplies and to gather intel in order to stop the offensive. The soldiers arrive by helicopter, clearing an LZ near a village and then proceeding to clear the surrounding areas. Bennett is ordered to scout the nearby terrain and eliminate any near resistance. After completing a circular patrol around the LZ, Bennet returns with Stafford, who regards the mission as something easy and quick.
