The Landing Vehicle Tracked was a class of amphibious landing craft used to transport men and material across stretches of water. It saw widespread use by the western Allied Powers in World War II.

Call of Duty 2[]

In Call of Duty 2, the Landing Vehicle Tracked is used by the United States Army Rangers to cross the Rhine river and attack Wallendar. The vast majority of these vehicles are destroyed by German FlaK 88s.

Two LVT-4s appear on the multiplayer map Crisis on the beach where the Operation 40 faction spawns. They cannot be used and do not move, but are somewhat interactive to players, as they can climb up the ladders on the sides of the vehicle to reach the top of the vehicle.

As the files are reused from Call of Duty 2 one can possibly infer that it is a stand-in for the LVT-5.
