In the Call of Duty: WWII campaign level "Liberation", you play as Camille "Rousseau" Denis, who is a leader of the French Forces of Interior. She worked alongside the British Special Operations Executive agent Arthur Crowley to infiltrate the garrison in Paris at midnight. After meeting with the spy Karl Fischer, Rousseau assassinated SS-und Polizeiführer Heinrich, the commander of the Gestapo forces in Paris who murdered her whole family. After planting the bomb that Fischer offers, an uprising is staged right outside the garrison by the French Resistance and the 1st Infantry Division. The French 4th Armored Division and US 4th Infantry Division arrived at dawn and France is liberated from Nazi Germany.
