"Once the team activates it near an Aether Storm, you'll see."
— Dr. Pericles Panos

The Limited Transdimentional Gateway Device (also know as the LTG Device) is a buildable item featured in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies map Liberty Falls. When built and placed beneath Aether Storms, it summons High Value Targets (HVT).

History[]

Before the dimensional breach in Liberty Falls, the purpose of the LTG Device was originally to contain the breach and was being overseen by Project Janus scientists Dr. Pericles Panos, Dr. Kyle Moline, and Dr. Annette Pelletier, but the procedure failed and the device exploded, leaving several of its pieces scattered around the town, the scientists missing, and brought even more Dark Aether entities through the portals it opened.

A day later, when Alpha Team was deployed in Liberty Falls, they were soon tasked by Dr. Pericles Panos to retrieve its scattered parts through the use of the Thrustodyne Aeronautics Model 23 and to assemble it again. When it was assembled, Panos explained that the device could be used to harness the life energy of the High Value Targets that came through it, and that they could capture it through the use of Aether Canisters. Alpha Team was then tasked to place the LTG beneath the two Aether Storms present on the map and to defend it while it was powering up, as when it was at full power it spawned HVTs. Once both HVT's life energy had been harnessed in the Canisters, the LTG device was of no longer use.

Parts Locations[]

After the LTG Device exploded, the LTG device was split into three parts, which could be found in the following spots:

  • Inside of the Church, to the left of the Gallery where Panos is.
  • Inside of Olly's Comics, floating above the ceiling.
  • In the apartment above the Barber Shop on Washington Avenue.
