The Luttazzi Crime Family are an Italian mafia and antagonistic faction that serves as rivals to the French Syndicate. They are featured in both the Campaign and Multiplayer modes of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and are primarily located within the Principality of Avalon. They appear in the Campaign mission, High Rollers, and during the Season One intro cinematic.

Background[]

In the 1920s, the Luttazzi Family originated in Sicily. In 1925, they arrived and relocated in the northern region of Avalon following the execution of the Luttazzi patriach. The Luttazzi, led by the second matriarch, built banks, churches, and neighborhoods, gaining influence in Avalon's underworld.

After the Second World War, the Luttazzi grew in influence and built several famed landmarks of Avalon including the Casino Luttazzi, which helped build their gambling ring in Avalon, alongside functioning as a money laundering scheme. In 1959, the Godmother became the new matriarch of the Luttazzi.

Sometime during the 1980s, the Luttazzi would align themselves with Pantheon and managed their money through their criminal activities and sponsors, with a large share of profits going to the Pantheon. The Luttazzi also had provided a slew of safe deposit boxes within their vault under the casino for their clients, fellow criminal organizations, and Pantheon. Due to the importance of the secrets held inside the safe boxes, the Luttazzi Family placed their enforcers at the casino as security guards and also invested in state-of-the-art military-grade weaponry for their casino guards. Despite their armament, the guard lacked proper firearm training when compared to the CIA team and relied more on intimidatory tactics like brute force.

Pantheon Conspiracy[]

On February 11th, 1991, operatives from Rogue Black Ops infiltrated Casino Luttazzi, obtaining a Pantheon dossier from the Luttazzi safe deposit. Luttazzi Security, now joined by Pantheon operatives, attempted to stop the Rogue Black Ops but ultimately failed in preventing their escape with the dossier.

Rivalry with the French Syndicate[]

By December 1991, operatives of Rogue Black Ops aligned themselves with the French Syndicate after agents of the Pantheon infiltrated Avalon's criminal underworld. After the French Syndicate succeeded in helping the Rogue Black Ops, they then assisted the Syndicate in taking down the Luttazzi.

After suffering heavy losses from the combined efforts of the Rogue Black Ops and French Syndicate, the Luttazzi decided to retaliate by sending a $1,000,000 bounty against Sevati Dumas and Troy Marshall, causing the two factions to turn on one another. This opportunity allowed for Crimson One operative, Nocturne, alongside his allies to chase after the two.
