When hit directly by a bazooka's rocket the player can expect to be killed, and the splash damage from the rocket can send a player to near death conditions. Note that the bazooka is entirely different from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare's RPG-7 because it is far more reliable at long distance, comes equipped with a scope instead of a iron sight, and does not involve crazy spiraling. Its accuracy is a good bonus seeing how tanks can sometimes be extremely far away and though it will spin at long distances, accuracy is still guaranteed. Most people consider this perk "Best Last Resort" weapon if it is used against personnel, although it can easily be countered with the Flak Jacket perk.
It is recommended to use this weapon overall for a dedicated Anti-Tank class, as to remove need to bum rush a tank to place a Satchel Charge or sticky grenade on it, but instead take it out at long range. It is recommended to hit the flanks or the engine of the tank, as any forward shot is definitely weaker than a critical hit. At least five-to-six shots to the front are needed to kill a tank while only about three-to-four critical hit spots will down a tank. A sticky grenade can reduce the damage needed to destroy the tank by about one shot.
If using it against infantry, use it against groups in a tight, enclosed area to ensure that the explosion will injure and kill almost all of the people in there. Additionally, if it must be used against someone on the ground, remember it to fire at the floor near the enemy so that the bazooka will explode near them instead of potentially missing their bodies.
