The MAT-49 is a submachine gun that appears in Call of Duty: Black Ops DS. It has a 32 round magazine and has a high rate of fire with little recoil. It appears as a Soviet used SMG, along with the PPSh-41 and the PPS-43. It is found in the later levels of the campaign used by the Red Army. It is unlocked after 150 kills with the Makarov PM, and 150 kills with the MAT-49 will unlock the PPS-43. It can also be found in the Mystery Box in Zombies mode.
