- For a similar killstreak, see Tactical Nuke.
The MGB (Mass Guided Bombs) is a hidden Killstreak reward featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.
The MGB is earned by getting 30 consecutive kills only using class weapons and equipment. Killstreaks or vehicles in Ground War do not count towards the required kills. It is also unaffected by Hardline.
When activated, a massive plane will appear, launch five missiles, and end the game with a win for the team who called it in similarly to the Tactical Nuke in previous games. The MGB will be automatically called in when a team managed to capture all five objectives and hold them in Ground War, ending the match in favor of said team.
Trivia[]
- The launch code for the MGB (26627) translates to: "BOMBS".
- In the French version of Modern Warfare II, the MGB is referred to as a neutron bomb.[1]
- In the Simplified Chinese version of Modern Warfare II, the MGB is referred to as a Nuke.
- In Modern Warfare II, the MGB doesn't kill any of the participating players within the match before ending the game.
- Upon its return in Modern Warfare III, the MGB now kills all participating players within the match before ending the game.
- For the duration of the Season Four update for Modern Warfare III, the MGB was temporarily replaced with the DNA Bomb[2]. But, the MGB later returned upon the release of Modern Warfare III's Season Five update.
- However, the MGB is still available in Private Matches after 30 kills whether the DNA Bomb was activated or not.
