Makarov's Return was an event featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III available between November 24th and November 30th, 2023.

Players had to play matches of Multiplayer or Zombies to earn XP and progress through the rewards. By having the "Nemesis Makarov" Operator skin for Makarov equipped, players would have an additional XP boost.
