SAS career[edit | edit source]
Burns was assigned to the 22nd SAS, with Sergeant Wallcroft and Corporal Griffen in Bravo Six. They were tasked to investigate a group of suspicious trucks being loaded from the docks in London. Fighting their way to the truckyard using a combination of stealth and lethal force, Burns and company open the first World Charity Organization truck to reveal nothing. Makarov's men fall back into the Tube and highjack a train. Bravo Six and Bravo Nine give chase in subway work trucks. The train derails under Westminster Abbey, killing Bravo Nine and Corporal Griffen in the process. Burns and Wallcroft fight through the station and, after regrouping with other members of the SAS, manage to stop the second World Charity truck by killing the driver. However, they are unable to contain all the World Charity trucks, and Makarov's men release a chemical agent throughout Europe, causing innumerable casualties, including The Davis Family.
