Matmata is a multiplayer map in Call of Duty 2.
Overview[]
Like Toujane, it takes place in Tunisia and is based on the campaign mission "Assault on Matmata". The map favors sniper rifles, rifles and LMG's due to the wide sightlines and very few narrow passageways around the map. At the center of the map there is a large temple; this is a key point on the map as most of the activity is centered around here.
