"Contains the planet Mercury and all satellites within its gravitational sphere of influence. Entirely under UNSA control, this sector is primarily controlled by China-based interests."
— Description

The Mercury Cluster is an area of the Solar System in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, containing the planet Mercury. The UNSA mining asteroid Vesta 3 used to be located in the orbit or Mercury before it was shot out of orbit by the SDS Olympus Mons, causing it to spin out of control into the orbit of the Sun. The Mercury cluster is controlled by the United Nations Space Alliance.

The planet Mercury is the smallest in the solar system, as well as the closest to the Sun. It is also one of the most recent planets to be settled as despite its close proximity to Earth, heat shielding remained a problem. China was the first UNSA member state to establish a facility, primarily automated with minimal life support for a human skeleton crew.
