- "We need help! The Germans are advancing on our tank depot at the old tractor factory! Come with me!"
- — Private Mikael Kirelenko to Lieutenant Tanya Pavelovna.
Private Mikael Kirelenko is a Soviet soldier appearing in Call of Duty: Finest Hour. During the Second World War, he served with the 13th Guards Rifle Division and participated in the Battle of Stalingrad.
On 3 October 1942, Kirelenko was among a contingent of soldiers defending an old tractor factory in the city of Stalingrad under the command of Commissar Sergei Konstantinov. Besieged by German soldiers, the Commissar directs Kirelenko to find request assistance from nearby troops in fortifying their position. Kirelenko then locates the sniper Lieutenant Tanya Pavelovna and her spotter, Private Aleksandr Sokolov, and asks for them to follow him back to the factory.
They head out into the streets to join with a group of Red Army soldiers, though they immediately come under fire from a Mark IV Tank. The other men are gunned down in the streets while Kirelenko leads Pavelovna and Sokolov into the city's sewer system. The trio attempt to make their way through the underground labyrinth, encountering German and fellow Soviet soldiers along the way. They are eventually able to make their way to an exit near the tractor factory, though Kirelenko does not follow Pavelovna and Sokolov any further.
- He may be killed while making his way through the sewers, allowing for other Soviet soldiers to join Pavelovna's squad.
- In order to resources optimization, soviet sapper and german escort soldiers from beginning of the level have the same appearance as Kirelenko.
