Milena Romanova (Russian: Милена Романова) is a character featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. A real-estate magnate, Milena is a financier for Konni Group.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Milena Romanova married an oligarch who had close ties with Vladimir Makarov. After her husband was murdered, Milena inherited his fortune and remained associated with Makarov, providing financial support for his cause. She later became the financier for Konni Group, even after the incarceration of Makarov, following the attack against Verdansk in 2019.
Vondel Incident[]
On June 8th, 2023, 72 hours after a reported chemical attack against the Vondel in the Netherlands, Milena tasked Konni to secure the city under the guise of a peacekeeping force.
Smuggling chemical weapons[]
In August 2023, Ivan Alexxeve and Andrei Nolan succesfully stole highly concentrated chemical weapons from Shadow Company in an attack coordinated by Makarov from his prison cell. Milena brokered a deal between Konni and the Las Almas Cartel to transport the gas to Vondel before smuggling it across the world, including in Urzikstan.
Makarov's escape[]
In November 2023, Milena used the Konni funds to bribe personel of the Zordaya Prison Complex in Verdansk to facilite Makarov's escape from the Gulag. On November 10th, Ivan and Nolan succesfully launched a raid against the prison complex and freed Makarov. When Makarov rejoined Konni Group, Milena was there to greet him.
Encounter with Task Force 141[]
Two days ater Makarov's escape, Johnny "Soap" MacTavish and Simon "Ghost" Riley infiltrated Plutus Island, a private island owned by Milena, using information provided by General Herschel Shepherd. They apprehended and interrogated her. When she didn't react after removing $85 million dollars from Makarov's accounts, they threatened to drain the money from her own personal account if she didn't reveal his location. Milena revealed Makarov was in Saint Petersburg. The duo departed soon after, as she cursed them.
