Minigames, or R&R, is a feature in Call of Duty: WWII. They can be found in the headquarters on the beachhead between the scorestreak range and the gunsmith. There are fifteen minigames in total, each costing ten armory credits for unlimited play until the player exits the game. All of 1980s the games have graphics reminiscent of early video games from the 1980s, with heavily pixelated sprites and an option to switch between black and white or full color.
Minigames[]
Barnstorming[]
Barnstorming puts the player in control of a yellow biplane. The plane can move up and down, and the objective is to fly through barns (10, 15, 20, or 25 depending on the difficulty level) while avoiding flocks of birds and windmills and before the timer reaches five minutes.
Boxing[]
Boxing is, as the name suggests, a boxing match between a white boxer (the player) and a black boxer (the AI). The objective is to punch the opponent as many times as you can before the two-minute stopwatch runs out. Like many other games, there are no different difficulty levels.
Chopper Command[]
Chopper Command places the player in the role of a tan helicopter. The helicopter can move up and down, as well as progressing the level by moving forwards and backwards. As the player moves forwards, black trucks, blue jets, and white helicopters will begin appearing from the right side of the screen. Trucks have no attacks and simply drive along the bottom before disappearing off of the left boundary. Jets and helicopters have more erratic flight paths and shoot projectiles occasionally at the player. Each vehicle takes one projectile to destroy, and upon destruction will fire two projectiles perpendicularly to the vehicle. These death projectiles are the only way to destroy trucks. The player does not have a time limit, but rather attempts to gain as high of a score as possible before losing all three lives.
