Mikhail Borisovich Petrov, also known as Misha Petrov, is a character featured in Call of Duty: Vanguard, serving as supporting character during the missions Stalingrad and Lady Nightingale.
Biography[]
He was the younger brother of Polina Petrova. He joined the Soviet Partisans, as he was not fit to be in the regular Red Army. His sister, however, joined the Red Army, as a medical officer, as opposed of her true ability to be a sniper.
He initially appeared when he was tasked to bring Molotov Cocktails to the base and his sister was called up to the medical team, but was called up by their father to eat breakfast. After the meal, he forgot the molotovs, prompting Polina to bring them up to him.
Later, during the attack, he was captured and nearly executed by the Nazis alongside other new recruits, but Polina saved them.
He led the opening of their escape route, while Polina distracted the Germans.
A year later, the siblings were scouting the area when they spotted Leo Steiner's men. They fought their way forward until they saw Steiner along with his men but an enemy sniper shot and wounded him. Polina brought him to a ruin, but it caved in. He detonated himself to make a distraction.
