"We're spotted! Ramirez - use your smoke grenades! Dunn, Morgan - cover him!"
— Sgt. Foley addressing Morgan in Wolverines!

Private Morgan is a US Army Ranger and a member of Hunter Two-One, 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. He appears as a lesser character during the mission "Wolverines!" in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 during the events of the Russo-American War.

Biography[]

Morgan appears as part of Hunter 2-1's original fireteam that is deployed to evacuate civilians and high-value individuals in Virginia and to assist in defending the area from the attacking enemy. During this operation, they are tasked with securing a VIP, codename "Raptor", whose helicopter was downed whilst evacuating him to safety.

Morgan, along with the rest of Hunter 2-1 make their way to Raptor's crash site at an abandoned plaza, where they meet heavy resistance from Russian forces who are also converging on the area. Throughout the battle Morgan holds position inside of Nate's Restaurant. Morgan's weapon is always the M240, suggesting that he is the support gunner for the squad. His appearance is randomized.

The name "Morgan" is on the whiteboard in the remastered version, this may have been him, but it is unknown, it could have been another "Morgan"

Other Rangers can been found with the name 'Morgan' in all of the Ranger missions including "Wolverines!" as the name is randomized. All of these 'Morgans' are randomly generated and look different every time.

Trivia[]

  • If Morgan is killed before the BTR stops by the ammo crate (only possible through friendly fire, which almost always results in being sent back to the last checkpoint), Foley will yell "Dunn, cover him!" as opposed to "Dunn, Morgan, cover him!"
  • If Morgan survives the entire mission, he will not enter a vehicle. Instead, he will stay at Nate's Diner by the exit and will continuously to switch from cover to cover until the mission ends.
  • In Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered, his name is written on multiple whiteboards found in the bunker in the mission Of Their Own Accord. His name is written underneath Ramirez, but is crossed out with a red marker and he is labelled K.I.A., confirming his death, though where he died is unknown.
