Mount Yamantau (Ямантау) is a mountain located within the Ural Mountains in Bashkortostan, Russia. The mountain is featured in campaign levels and multiplayer maps in Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. It is also seen in Call of Duty: Warzone during the Season Three Intro Cinematic for Black Ops Cold War.
Call of Duty: Black Ops[]
Mount Yamantau is the primary setting for the campaign level WMD in Call of Duty: Black Ops in 1968, when Jason Hudson and Grigori Weaver infiltrate and disable a satellite relay before infiltrating a weapon facility down the mountain in order to obtain proof that Nikita Dragovich had fully weaponized the Nova 6 gas. Both the satellite relay and facility are destroyed and buried by an avalanche caused by the fighting.
The multiplayer maps WMD and Summit are located on or near Yamantau.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified[]
Yamantau is featured in the mission Three Point Landing where Frank Woods Is sent to the destroyed facility in the winter of 1977 and discover that Friedrich Steiner's protégé, Adolf Schlussel is working on reactivating the Nova 6 program.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War[]
Mount Yamantau appears in the campaign level Echoes of a Cold War in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War in which Woods and Alex Mason returned to the destroyed satellite relay in 1981 before infiltrating a doomsday bunker to retrieve the list of Dragovich's sleeper agents inside the facility mainframe in order to stop Perseus.
The mountain is also featured in the Season Three intro cinematic where two Perseus operatives, Freya "Wraith" Helvig and Roman "Knight" Gray, infiltrate another bunker to retrieve files regarding Dragovich brainwashing program. The operatives then detonate a nuclear device destroying the entire mountaintop.
The map WMD, available in multiplayer, and the eponymous map Yamantau, available in both multiplayer and Zombies Onslaught, is located on Mount Yamantau after the explosion.
