During "Old Wounds", Jason Hudson, Alex Mason, Frank Woods, and Tian Zhao assisted the Mujahideen by defending certain points from Soviet tanks, helicopters and infantry. Later in the mission, Woods, Mason and Zhao charged into incoming tank fire with the Mujahideen, and found Lev Kravchenko. After either Mason or Woods killed him, the Mujahideen betrayed Woods, Mason, Hudson, and Zhao after revealing their true allegiance to Menendez, beat them unconscious, and left them in the desert to die.

The Mujahideen also make an appearance in the Strike Force mission I.E.D. as they fight alongside with the SDC.
