Corporal Núñez was a corrupt member of the Mexican Army featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. He was tasked with sending information to Valeria Garza. However, he was killed due to his lack of knowledge on the matter.
Biography[]
Corporal Núñez was one of the corrupt members of the Mexican Army on the Las Almas Cartel's payroll. He took part in leading the mission to take out the attacker who raided Hassan's hideout. However, the attackers managed to escape with unidentified air support, culminating in Hassan's capture.
A few days later, Núñez and two of his men were sent to El Sin Nombre's Penthouse, where they met with Valeria and were interrogated about the attacks. Unfortunately, Núñez's men failed to answer the questions which got them killed in the process via electrocution. Not long after, Soap was brought into the room and was placed in a chair adjacent to Núñez, where Valeria also asked the same questions to Soap about the attack.
Soap revealed that Mexican Special Forces with the help of Shadow Company were responsible for the raid, providing the cartel intel of Shadow Company's leader Phillip Graves and a patch of the group's insignia as proof. Because of this, Núñez became confused and disbelieved by what he heard. He then begged Valeria and Diego Salgado not to kill him, but to no avail as he was executed via a shot to the head shortly after.
