NX-1 Grenades, also known as Disruptor Grenades, are lethal grenades in Call of Duty: Ghosts. They are exclusive to the Extinction map Exodus. The NX-1 Grenades require the player to find the proper schematic along with the proper parts.

Overview[]

The NX-1 Grenades are extremely powerful, much like the Venom Grenades. When crafted, the player will acquire five of them, and it will occupy the lethal slot, overriding any lethal slot items that were already present in the player's inventory when the crafting process occurs.

Each grenade essentially acts like a fully charged NX-1 Disruptor shot, capable of de-activating an Ancestor's force field prematurely and dealing large damage to an Ancestor. Because of this, NX-1 Grenades have enormous tactical value when fighting Ancestors, since it takes less time to throw a grenade than to switch to the NX-1 Disruptor, charge, and fire a round. NX-1 Grenades also tend to hit the Ancestor more reliably since it is thrown like a grenade instead of being a slow-moving projectile that can easily be intercepted by another Cryptid or a wall. It also allows players to not have to use the NX-1 Disruptor as frequently, allowing players to focus more on dealing damage to the Ancestors, since players won't have to switch back to whatever weapon they were previously using after throwing an NX-1 Grenade, unlike with the NX-1 Disruptor.
