The Nano Swarm is a grenade that appears in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare in the Exo Zombies mode. It is available via the 3D Printer.
Effects
Unlike the Distraction Drone, the Nano Swarm functions almost the same as the module for the Missile Strike scorestreak in multiplayer, but appears in a grenade form. The player throws it on the ground and it will explode upon impact. It will create a nano sphere, and any zombies in it will be slowed down and damage will be inflicted on the zombies every one frame per second.
The Nano Swarm can be extremely useful when being swarmed by zombies, and can be used to escape. Due to its large radius, it can cover an entire path, and any zombie going after the player will be caught in it. The Nano Swarm deals large damage and will easily kill zombies even near round 30. As the player is not affected by the swarm, it can be used to revive teammates, by throwing one close to any player.
Coupled with Hyper-Damage, the Nano Swarm is lethal, as any zombie caught in the swarm will instantly die, combined with the fact that the Nano Swarm can cover an entire path, like the corridors in Outbreak. This is especially useful in higher rounds where there are large amounts of enemies, preventing the player from using their ammo. Add in Multiplier, and it gives its user a large amount of points.
