Born in the Kamchatka Peninsula in the Russian Far East, Natalya Orlov grew up with a father who didn't want her. An arrogant hunter, her father often dismissed her, insisting she was good at nothing. During her father's hunting trips, Natalya practiced shooting with a rifle she found in an abandoned lodge. When she was a teenager, a Siberian bear was said to roam around her town. Armed with her old rifle, she ventured into the woods and kill the bear, bringing its head to her father before leaving her town.
She continued to travel around Russia, hunting various animals. At some point, she arrived in Moscow and was recruited by the Spetsnaz's Alpha Group. She was then sent to Chechnya as her first sniping assignment. Natalya singlehandedly held off offensives, recording kills after kills, becoming the legendary "Raptor" as she reconnected with the thrill of the hunt.
