The Nightingale is an equipment featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops II campaign. It operates similarly to the Decoy from the original Black Ops.
Overview[]
The Nightingale is found in the mission, "Suffer With Me". Woods cuts the lock off of a crate containing the Nightingale.
When thrown, the Nightingale emits smoke and randomly shoots rounds into its surroundings. It will distract enemy attention from the player and allies and attracts them towards it. If the enemy stands close to it for a prolonged amount of time, they will die due to the gunfire coming out of it.
