Overview

Nuketown Island is located in the midwestern region of the map, and is one of the only locations that is not directly on the mainland, instead being connected by two major bridges near the Diner and the Cargo Docks. The area takes heavy inspiration from the multiplayer map Nuketown from Call of Duty: Black Ops, as well as the Zombies map Nuketown Zombies from Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

Like the Fracking Tower, the area contains an accessible underground area, in this case being a massive nuclear fallout shelter beneath the island. This underground shelter contains four main entry points, which are three hatches scattered around the surface of the island, as well as breached storage hall on the south side of the island. The area is also considered a Zombies area, which allows a Mystery Box to spawn at the island, along with Zombies should the Mystery Box appear there. The Juggernog Bottle item required to unlock "Tank" Dempsey as a playable character also spawns in a fixed location within the Diner area of the bunker.
