Operation Monarch is a limited-time mode featured in Call of Duty: Warzone and available between May 11th and May 25th, 2022 during the event of the same name, Operation Monarch.

Overview

Featuring up to 60 players, Operation Monarch takes place on Caldera and works in a similar fashion as Resurgence, allowing repeated redeployments.

Godzilla and Kong are also featured on the map and will roam around the island, dealing damage to certain areas. At the start of a match, there will be a Titan Frenzy event which will trigger both creatures to target the players. A second Titan Frenzy will also occur during the match.

Similarly to the Power Grab mode, players are collecting Monarch Intel to fill a special meter rewarding them with different items for every 20 Monarch Intel including the new S.C.R.E.A.M. Device killstreak allowing them to use Godzilla's Heat Ray or Kong's Wrath against other players.

The rewards are:

• Gas Mask (20 Monarch Intel)
• Armor Satchel (40 Monarch Intel)
• Heavy Weapon Drop (60 Monarch Intel)
• Loadout Drop (80 Monarch Intel)
• Titan S.C.R.E.A.M. Device (100 Monarch Intel)

Radio Messages

Players could also interact with five radio suitcases playing messages from Monarch regarding the Titans activity.

Arsenal Radio Transcript
Naval Officer: We have received shipments from Carriers 0698, 0699, 0700, and 0702. Monarch Scientist 2: Copy that, officer. Let's get those samples to the lab. Wait. What happened to Carrier 0701?

Lagoon Radio Transcript
Naval Officer: Carrier 0701 never reported at the dock. Monarch Scientist 2: We need a status update for that carrier as soon as possible. Naval Officer: It looks like we lost contact with 0701 shortly after it reached the Southwest Pacific Basin. Monarch Scientist 2: Dammit. We've had a surge of seismic activity in the basin for the past 8 days.

Beachhead Radio Transcript
Monarch Scientist 1: Have we had any more reports of seismic activity since that incident involving Carrier 0701? Monarch Scientist 2: No further report has been made. Monarch Scientist 1: Do we have any more carriers traveling that route? Monarch Scientist 2: According to the manifest, we've got Carrier 0706 scheduled to take that route next week.

Capital Radio Transcript
Naval Officer: Carrier 0706 is planned for arrival tomorrow, but... we lost contact with 0711 somewhere in the Atlantic. Monarch Scientist 1: That's odd. We're seeing seismic activity along that route as well. Naval Officer: What should we do?

Mines Radio Transcript
Monarch Scientist 2: We lost contact with another carrier. We're going to need to chart new routes for our next shipment. Monarch Scientist 1: It's no use. These aren't earthquakes, and he'll be heading our way soon enough for the rest of these samples. Monarch Scientist 2: He...? What are you saying? Monarch Scientist 1: Get your camera ready; you always said you wanted to see a Titan up close.
