The Orbed Eruption Shard is a shard attachment featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. It was added as part of the Season Six update, as part of the Echoes of the Dead event along with the X52 Resonator.
With the Orbed Eruption Shard equipped, the X52 Resonator exchanges the fully automatic fire mode for a semi-automatic fire mode with a projectile style similar to that of the Conversion-Ready Binary Repeater-Standard in the Diffuser variant, having five shots that fire in a line that fan out over distance. Uniquely, while aiming, all five of these shots will instead hit where the center beam would simultaneously. This comes with a reduction of fire rate, bullet velocity and technical damage range but comes with the bonus of additional damage and recoil reduction.
