Outlaw 2-5 was the call-sign of a CH-46 Sea Knight assisting the Marine Corps' invasion of an unnamed Arab country in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare[]
Outlaw 2-5, first seen in War Pig, was crewed by an unidentified pilot and co-pilot, and its crew chief was Lieutenant Volker, flying to pick up Paul Jackson's platoon under Vasquez's command.
During the events of the mission "Shock and Awe", Jackson assisted the ground troops' assault on the capital city with Outlaw's Mk 19. After this, Outlaw dropped off her contingent of Marines who then went on to rescue a recon team that had become pinned down.
When the warning came through that the Khaled Al-Asad's forces had a nuclear device within the city limits, Outlaw along with all other US forces in the region were ordered to withdraw while NEST teams scrambled to defuse the bomb. During the retreat, a Cobra gunship was shot down by an enemy RPG and crashed into a nearby alleyway, killing its pilot and leaving its co-pilot trapped and forced to fend for herself. Vasquez ordered Outlaw to land so they could retrieve their comrades, knowing full well the risk involved for delaying their retreat. Outlaw deployed Vasquez's team and the surviving pilot was quickly rescued. Outlaw then fled the scene along with multiple other helicopters evacuating the city limits.
Moments later however, the nuclear device was detonated, destroying much of the Capital City and sending the choppers, including Outlaw crashing into the streets below. Volker was knocked out of the helicopter during the descent and sent falling to his death. Vasquez, Pelayo and Jackson were among those to initially survive the crash, only for them all to die due to their injuries and radiation exposure. There were no survivors from Outlaw's crew or passengers.
