The PDW-57 is a Submachine Gun first seen in the Call of Duty: Black Ops II Multiplayer reveal trailer. It has a 50 round magazine and is fully automatic. It has a relatively fast killing speed and a relatively fast reload speed - though if all the shots don't hit their mark, it is commonly outgunned by faster-firing SMG's such as the MP7 or Vector. With a Red Dot Sight, the PDW-57 has barely any sway, and when paired the Laser Sight and the Target Finder, it makes the holder an equally hip fire and aiming maniac. The main downfall, however, of the PDW-57 is the relatively high recoil and low accuracy at range. The PDW-57 is one of the best choices for a player fresh out of prestiging.

Trivia
- The PDW-57 has the same reload sound as the M16 from the first Black Ops.
- The supressor is currently glitched on this weapon, making the user still show on the minimap when firing.
