- "Hijackers take control of Russian Flight 761 bound for Sochi, Russia."
- — Mission Briefing
Passenger is the sixth campaign level in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.
Characters[]
- Samara Jalal (playable, K.I.A.)
- Vladimir Makarov
Plot[]
The news reported about a chemical warhead attack on the Arklov Military Base, with the ULF being the main suspect. Meanwhile, Makarov passes through a checkpoint at the airport as he and another man walk towards a flight that's currently being boarded for Sochi, Russia.
Later, Samara Jalal is sitting aboard a Russian plane, on her way to retirement from the ULF with Farah's approval, and briefly scrolls through her phone. The passenger next to her makes small talk about how family is important after noticing her background, naming each of her relative's names in the picture. He attempts to threaten Samara, after revealing he has a pistol, but she manages to take it from him before being forced to fire upon the corrupt air marshals in self-defense.
She is quickly incapacitated with a flash grenade and dragged to the front by Konni terrorists. While she's being strapped with a suicide vest, Makarov tells Samara that she's a "freedom fighter" and that she's fighting "for Urzikstan" despite her protests that Makarov's doing this to his own people. Makarov hands the phone meant to detonate the vest to one of his men before jumping off the plane with a corrupt flight attendant, and the man forces Samara to hold his pistol before throwing her and the phone out into the cabin. Samara tries to get the phone, but multiple passengers attempt to stop her as they believe she's a terrorist before breaking free and just as she's about to retrieve the phone, the bomb explodes - killing everyone onboard.
