Petrov Oil Rig is a multiplayer map featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare that was released as part of the Season Five update.
Overview[]
Petrov Oil Rig is set aboard one of the Petrov Group's oil platforms, located at an offshore oil field surrounded by various other offshore oil platforms. The area around the platforms is surrounded by large ice caps, with a looming thunderstorm approaching overhead. In addition, a cargo ship can be seen sailing around the platform where the map is set on.

- A Kastovian submarine can be seen below the main oil rig.
- The map along with its surroundings resembles the oil rig seen in the the singleplayer mission The Only Easy Day... Was Yesterday in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
- The name of the oil rig, along with the incoming thunderstorm and radio announcements could be a reference to Major Petrov seen in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
