Playing For Keeps[1] is a cut achievement/trophy in Call of Duty: Black Ops III. It requires the player to help the others.
This achievement was revealed in the official Black Ops III strategy guide, however it was replaced by the Dark Ops challenge "Apocalypse Averted", which specifies the task to be done in Shadows of Evil.
Trivia
- The phrase Playing for Keeps means playing seriously, as well as playing a game in which the winner takes it all.
- The name of the achievement is a play over the word "keeps" and the involvement of the Keepers in the Easter egg.
- "The others" in the description of the achievement refers to both the Keepers and the Apothicons, as the players first listen to the Shadowman, then team up with the keepers to defeat him.
