Zombies' point counter in Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Points is the primary currency earnt in the Treyarch Zombies gamemode, being renamed Zombie Essence in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Points are earnt via damaging Zombies with more being earnt on kill and additional being given for melee or headshot kills, repairing barriers, reviving downed allies and a multitude of other methods. However, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and games post it have made changes to the damaging will not garner points.

Points are crucial to advancing map, required to open new areas, upgrade weaponry, purchase Perk-a-Cola perks and interacting with most Utilites. The limit that one player can hold is dependant on the game, but is improbable to reach during standard gameplay to oft being in the hundreds of thousands or millions.
