Summary

Call of Duty: World at War is a first-person shooter developed by Treyarch which takes place in World War II, in both the Eastern and Western Fronts. It was released in mid-November 2008. The player plays as Private Miller of the Marine Raiders for the missions taking place in Japan, and as Private Dimitri Petrenko for the missions taking place in Russia and Germany. The PPSh-41 is a sub machine-gun which is commonly found during the campaign and is unlocked at rank 53 in multiplayer. It has an incredibly high rate of fire, low recoil, and a large magazine, but it has a very low damage rate, taking up to 3 bullets to kill even in hardcore game modes.
